We invite creative professionals to dive into new career opportunities. Registration for the autumn 2024 entrepreneurship and career path coaching is now open!

Humak’s ESF+ funded CreaDive project has kicked off with great success: the first coaching periods started in January and February have garnered great popularity! In total, over 40 current and aspiring talents in the creative industries have embarked on developing their skills or business ideas through the coaching.

Visits and coaching for early-stage entrepreneurship

The CreaDive project offers free entrepreneurship and career path coaching for creative industry professionals. The coaching is intended for early-stage creative entrepreneurs or those aspiring to enter the field, living in Southwest Finland. There will be a total of six coaching periods between 2024 and 2025. The coaching provides information on various work methods and revenue models in the creative industries, articulating one’s own skills, clients, competitors and megatrends, productization, sales and marketing, pitching, pricing and financial matters, networks, permits, insurance and copyrights.

The program also includes inspiring guest speeches and visits to various places related to creative industries and entrepreneurship. Additionally, the program includes personal coaching discussions at the beginning and end of each period, where each participant will receive an individualized path.

The goal is for participants to either find employment, be able to self-employ, or start their own business. The feedback from the spring coaching sessions has been overwhelmingly positive!

Further help for starting a business from the incubator

In addition to entrepreneurship and career path coaching, CreaDive offers in-depth incubation coaching to further develop one’s business idea and bring it to the right markets. The project also aims to build a sustainable, community-driven, and multicultural working and networking platform with the participants of the coaching program. This will be promoted through separate workshops during the years 2024 – 2025.

How to join?

The fall 2024 coaching period will take place on Thursdays from August 29th to December 12th, 2024, from 1 PM to 4 PM, with in-person teaching in Turku, languages being Finnish and English. If you want to develop and become part of a creative network and ecosystem, apply now!
